Whispers of Spring

Let me whisk you away into my world of colours with Whispers of Spring. This painting is alive with vibrant hues of green, pink, white, and yellow, dancing together in perfect harmony. I don't use brushes in my floral abstracts - instead I use my trusty palette knives and catalyst wedge - sweeping, smoothing, swirling and twirling the oil and cold wax medium until I get just the effect I'm looking for

Now, imagine a garden in full bloom, each petal gently swaying in the breeze, and the air filled with the sweet scent of flowers. That's the essence of my painting—Whispers of Spring. It's a way of bringing a slice of nature's beauty right into your living room.

But here's the thing—I live in Wales, where the skies are still grey and the wind has a mind of its own. So I'm having to conjure up the magic of springtime with each stroke of my palette knife instead, infusing my painting with warmth, light, and hope.

At 20 inches by 20 inches this canvas is bursting with life and energy. It's a celebration of the season of renewal, a reminder that even in the darkest of days there's always a glimmer of light waiting to burst forth.
